Refund policy

We have an 80% butterfly survival guarantee for Painted Lady and Cabbage White kits (4/5) and a 100% guarantee for Monarch Kits! We offer refunds or exchanges if you let us know your critters didn't make it within 30 days of purchase. You can refund your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method.

To be eligible for a refund you must show you did not leave the caterpillars in exposed sunlight- as stated in the instructions, that is very dangerous for them. 

To start a refund, you can contact us at riverbottombutterflies@gmail.com. If your refund is accepted, we’ll get you a new refill kit as soon as possible, as well as instructions on how and when to pick up your new kit. Items sent back to us without first requesting a refund will not be accepted.

Damages and issues for shipped products
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We cannot accept returns or refunds for gift cards.
