Shipping policy

SHIPPING POLICY
All orders for adult butterflies must be shipped via Next Day Air (overnight) to ensure their health and safety. The only exception is for destinations within Utah, where overnight ground shipping is available. Other shipping methods are not suitable for adult butterflies and may compromise their well-being.

We take great care in packaging your butterflies to ensure safe arrival, and we guarantee their safety during transit. While delays are extremely rare, if UPS fails to deliver on time and your butterflies are affected, you must notify us immediately and file a claim with UPS for damages.

Scheduling Your Shipment
If your butterflies are not needed immediately, please still select Next Day Air (Overnight) and include your preferred delivery date in the order notes or email us directly. We will schedule the shipment to arrive 1-2 days before your event. This ensures the butterflies are fresh and healthy for their release. You may cancel or adjust your order at any time up until the day of shipment. 

Shipping for Kits and Refill Cups
Monarch Kits: Follow the same policy as adult butterflies, with Next Day Air shipping unless otherwise arranged.
Painted Lady Kits and Refill Cups: Shipped via ground shipping, with an expected delivery timeframe of 1-3 days unless otherwise specified in the order notes.

Claims and Disputes:

For orders exceeding $200, any claims, issues, or disputes must meet the following criteria to be considered:

  • Submission Deadline: Claims must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Claims must include: High-resolution video or photos clearly showing the issue with the product.
  • Chargeback Waiver: By completing checkout, you acknowledge that disputes exceeding $200 will first be addressed directly with us. Chargebacks issued without adhering to this process will be contested using the provided evidence, and further action may be taken to recover costs.
