Now taking orders for Western Monarch 2026 Season! Orders should start shipping in June, but could be earlier or later depending on weather, migration, and other factors.
Our premium Monarch butterfly kit, available in very limited quantities starting in Early Summer (Pre-order is available). Each kit comes with two Monarch caterpillars (guaranteed to reach adulthood) in a large enclosure, instructions for care, and a milkweed plant that can be planted after release and may attract other Monarchs and butterflies all summer.
It takes 5-12 days for the caterpillars to reach the chrysalis stage, and another 10-11 days for them to emerge as butterflies. You can plan on the whole process taking 2.5 - 3 weeks from start to finish. If timing is a concern, you may place your order and pick it up or have it shipped later this Summer (just let us know in the comment box as you check out)!
If you are interested in purchasing only the Western Monarch Caterpillar, click here, but we do not guarantee they reach adulthood since we have no control over what milkweed you use, but they are in stock and ready to ship during the summer months.
This kit is usually available from May or June to Sept. please be patient as we fulfill orders from oldest to newest.
