Monarch butterflies are now likely to be listed as a threatened species, and your interest in supporting them is vital to their survival. By raising Monarch caterpillars, you can directly help these beautiful pollinators thrive!

Eastern Or Western Monarchs?

Monarchs cannot be shipped across the continental divide. Where you live will determine if we will ship to you from our Western or Eastern location. You can click here to see if your state and city is EAST or WEST of the continental divide. If you're still not sure, just give us a call or email and we are be happy to help! 

Western US Monarch Options

If you live in the Western US, and aren't sure where to start, we recommend our Monarch Kit with Milkweed plant. This kit comes with 2 guaranteed caterpillars and a milkweed plant. If you already have your own milkweed, and are looking to add some monarchs to your habitat, you can order single Western Monarch caterpillars. Both options come with easy care instructions. 

Eastern US Monarch Caterpillar Options

If you are in the Eastern US, we currently have the option of ordering a group of 12 monarch caterpillars. This is perfect for everyone, whether you have your own milkweed or not. These caterpillars will be nearly fully grown, and come with all the milkweed they need to make their chrysalis. You can add some of your own milkweed as long as it's pesticide free, or we can provide some extra as well when you order. 

What else can I do to help the Monarch Butterfly? 

There are many organizations with detailed information about creating monarch habitat and other critical things you can do to support the monarchs where you live. We highly recommend learning more from Monarch Watch or other organizations you can find online.
